Summer Fun at HighPointe

The HighPointe Summer Transition Program for young adults is a full-day social, recreation and enrichment program where 16-21 year olds are able to make new friends, enjoy creative activities and athletic games, and access the community in meaningful ways.

We believe that the needs, interests, goals, and desires of our clients are predicated first by their humanity not their disability.

Young adults in our summer program receive daily opportunities to grow, learn, and experience new things.

We provide a safe place for young adults with disabilities to go during the summer where they will be well cared for by highly qualified, caring staff. But, what truly sets this program apart is the variety of opportunities our clients have to engage in meaningful activities that promote growth, accomplishment and increased independence.

Individuals requiring mobility and other personal support are welcome.

My daughter loves the staff at HighPointe. She will sometimes only want to do an activity because she loves the staff member leading it. They are really in tune with their clients.” – HighPointe Parent
